In December, 2004 Female Medical Officer Programme (FMO) was initiated in Rahim Yar Khan. Under this programme each FMO was assigned five Basic Health Units, She spends one day at one BHU and treats the women and children. She goes to the Girls School / Colleges for School Health Session on every Friday. At present three to five FMO have been engaged in District Rahim Yar Khan, Faisalabad, Chakwal, Vehari, Lahore and Sahiwal.
