District Toba Tek Singh adjoins the district Faisalabad on the East, on the West and North its boundary touches Jhang district, its South and South-Eastern side is bounded by river Ravi across which lies districts of Khanewal and Sahiwal. District Toba Tek Singh is spread over an area of 3252 square kilometres comprising of following three tehsils Toba Tek Singh, Gojra and Kamalia.

District Toba Tek Singh has extreme hot and cold climate. The land mainly comprises plains with river Ravi flowing on South Eastern side of the district. Most of the area of tehsil Kamalia is low lying and gets flooded during rainy season. The soil is fertile.

The district was taken over by PRSP on 20th of April, 2005. There are 66 Basic Health Units and 23 ZCDs / GRDs.
